i'm 24yrs and live in ireland where i study at sligo. ever since about 2002 or so i found that i was becoming more and more socially nervious. i havent had a girlfriend since then either. i find it hard to express myself and during things like job interveiws i look a sorry state.
all during collage i feel really tightened and tense in big rooms full of peopl3e. i have a few friends now but not as many as i once had. sometimes i get the strangest feeling that everyone thinks that im crazy.i really get down sometimes due to my social anxiety and feel that it is draining my life. im 24 and should be in top form. i am seriously concidering going to the docter to get help but i dont want to go on any medication.
anyway thats my brief statement on my present situation. looking forward to chatting with some people of similar feelings.yours truly Rubber Ed.....

Welcome to the forums rubber Ed. Go to the doctor if things get really bad as some people have reported benefits from medications.
