Yes, Angie it was the lawn mower.
I have had some rubbish gifts from him over the years. It is now at the point where I buy most of my own birthday and Christmas presents to avoid disappointment!! It was probably a plan by him to get out of all present buying - come up with some rubbish gifts and then never have to do any present buying again. Unfortunately, the lawn mower wasn't the worst gift. He once bought me a back straighter!!
I would never buy him a practical gift. I think gifts should be something special and also something you consider a treat. Believe me a lawn mower and a back straightener are not considered a treat!! |

Wow. I think your husband needs a gift-giving intervention. Those are some awful gifts. Do you drop hints around Christmastime and your birthday? Maybe he'll catch on. Or maybe gift giving duties should be passed along to the dogs, hehe. _________________ "Remember that no one can make you feel inferior without your consent." -Eleanor Roosevelt |

| It's just easier to buy what I want as then I get exactly the right thing. I did give him a small list of things I would like for Christmas but he still came back with some very odd things! |
