I'm going to be honest I am pretty happy I came across this little gem on the net. I suppose I should start off with my name, Tyler. I am 23 and going to school. Now of course I wouldnt have posted here if I didn't have a social problem so ya...I've had SA since I was about twelve and I won't lie when I say that it has been the defining problem in my life. I'm certinaly not here for sympathy but more so to be active with other people who share in the same struggles as I do everyday. As well as to put what is in my head to paper for lack of a better word. So with that said I would like to list off a few of the biggest problems I am currently trying to overcome. Hopefully I can get to know some of yall in the time to come.

Big probs...
1. Work and over all what Im going to do for my life. Havent worked in three years and I'm scared if I will make it on my own. (I need to beat this very very soon, hence why it is at the top)
2. Not finishing school, this is a scary one.
3. Being social in general and taking myself out of the online scene and getting to know real people and make real friends that I can acutally touch haha.

Welcome Tyler. I'm about same age as you.

So for number 1, what have you done so far? Have you sent out lots of applications yet? Got any interviews lined up? Asked your friends for advice?

I know how it feels to be looking for that first real job. I was really worried at the time when I started looking.

I've done a few apps for some night jobs wal-mart, ups, post office sorta thing. And I say night jobs becuase well I feel most comfortable at night for some reason its reassuring to me that I know most people are asleep in bed. As far as having anything lined up yet, no, my past work experience isn't very good and without having worked in 3 years I'm not sure anyone will wanna hire me lol. And as far as friends go, I moved from my hometown in west Texas to Dallas, Texas to live with my mom when I was 20. Since that day which was ironically my BD (Today Smile I haven't made one friend yet and I only talked to 2 people from back home and they go to Tech so I don't speak to them much so lol.

I've gotten over some pretty big things in my life but this one is proving to be the hardest. I'm still not quite sure what my options are as far as good jobs go and honestly to not know that is horrifying.

Good luck with your applications. So with the walmart job are you pretty much just stacking shelves or working at the front, dealing with customers?

It would prolly be stocking shelves at night, not to much costumer service at 12 am hehe. Which is nice, I enjoy this work because I can put some music on, stock what needs to be stocked and thats about it. Simple, comfortable, and its money lol

Sounds like a good job to me! But the time seems really bad. On the other hand, things must be really quiet at that time.

Ya Most people don't like night jobs but I'm naturally a night owl so it would work perfect for me.
