It seems takign care of the depression is only the half of it. The am struggling to improve my SA and have just started CBT. Has anyone who going to a therapist and taking meds improved at all? Because i find it isn't helping so far. like does anyone have any success stories?

CBT is supposed to have the best rate of success so keep with it.

I found the depression is caused by the SA.

My sa has certainly improved used CBT. I found out about it when I used to see a psychologist and she gave me a workbook to work out of. I use it everyday for sa, and basically I'm retraining my thought patterns and beliefs about myself, that I let form for many years. It takes time and effort, but you will see improvement over time. Good Luck. I know it sounds simplistic, but I've trained myself to, "not care" what other people think about me. This has taken time, I've been working on it a few years, but it is definitely worth the effort. I've gone from never talking to anyone, when I was younger, to striking up conversations with total strangers. Do try CBT. I think you'll like the results!

Kallik is right on.

Mine has improved through similar actions.

It takes work.
