Are lorazepams good for social anxiety? my friend takes it because he has anxiety and told me that it...?
might be good for me because of my social anxiety (ie, im not social when around groups of people, or when i am at a job interview, etc...) he told me I should see my psychiatrist about this and ask him more...what do you think? |

| I believe that Lorazepam is Ativan--which is used for anxiety. You should at least go to your general MD to be diagnosed. He or she can let you know if you need to see a shrink--sometimes the general MD will give you the meds based on his diagnosis. If you do get meds, you should also look into therapy--which can help you discover why you have this anxiety. |
