What are the best ones that you know of or use?. Are there any that are free, that won't screw up my computer?.

I have used Kazaa, Morpheus and LimeWire in the past. They were the only ones I found that worked, but they all had spyware/adware/malware.

BitComet, is just for Torrents, and is not really P2P I believe. Shareza does Torrents as well.

I use bearshare. But you have to change your config so that the adware doesn't load up.

Some like Kazaa, had adware and crap bundled in with the actual program once you install it.

I use acquisition for p2p and azureus for torrents. Whats nice about acquisition is that when you search for stuff on the network a little itunes logo will pop up next to songs that are allready in your itunes library. Very usefull when downloading full albums a song at a time.

I use Limewire. It works pretty good exept it slows my comp down a bit when I'm downloading a lot of stuff.
